La Pachamama the Inca Fertility goddess of the Andes in the Quecha and Aymara languages of South America means World or Earth mother but it has a greater meaning of interconnectivity amongst all living things, the Earth, Sky, Universe and all space and time. We are one - one people, one planet connected in nature.

Our story

OUR MISSION

Transforming the health of people and the planet. Bringing joy to the world through creativity and freedom of expression.

Creating plant-based products and services that contribute to a positive, lasting impact in the world for future generations

Celebrating the unity and interconnectivity of all living things

“We live in this beautiful world together inextricably linked to one another and all of the living natural world of which we are part. We can choose to create products that align with its preservation and protection and create products that are treasured, valued and loved. We can also choose to value the resources that are used and the partners that come together to create with us. That is our aim.”

“Our prints are inspired by travel, adventure, the beauty of nature, wild places, plants, animals and wonderful people. Through photography we capture the elements for each design which are then collaged together to create an iconic, vibrant and uplifting print in the UK design studio. Our Sustainable Production house in India then lovingly print and sew the designs onto our signature multipurpose La Pachamama products.

  • We lovingly make beautiful accessories to be treasured

  • We create timeless, uplifting prints

  • We use plant based, sustainable materials

  • We partner with Ethical and Sustainable factories in India

  • Our products are multipurpose and cross seasonal

  • A percentage of our profits go towards creating a lasting benefit to our world

LA PACHAMAMA was founded by artist and designer Melissa Mayes.

Her art career started off in Design and Illustration and then later moved on to printed textile design for womens’ fashion, where she freelanced for an established London Print Studio. Her designs were sold internationally to some of the top fashion houses as well as to High Street brands.

After realising that many of her prints were being used for fast fashion; were being printed onto materials that are bad for the environment and with no idea who was making them… She decided to do things differently and create her own products in an ethical and sustainable way and LA PACHAMAMA was born.

LA PACHAMAMA is always evolving and learning, we are a friend of the future. Please get in touch if you would like to collaborate.
